Hey moto you ought to meet us out in Attica sometime. All kidding aside I think most of the group that I ride with tends to like Attica over Haspin Acres. There is alot less mud this time of year in Attica. It is a little more sandy terrain, but it also has a lot more hills too. I don't think they have a track though. I think they were going to put one in at one time... who knows!
Where is that at, Northern Ohio? Do you have to have paddles? Is it more trails? I hate going to Haspin when it is wet, that clay will eat up bearings and brake pads in a hurry. The nice part about Haspin's mud is that it dries VERY fast.

I might go sometime this summer, me and my riding buddies have been wanting to try some new riding spots. The only reason I said Haspin is because it is a central location to us that I know of, and that is really the only place I ride at in Indiana that I can think of. We are kind of bored with it tho, for good trail riding we go to Wayne National Forest. You ever been there?

no I haven't but we have been to Rock House in West Virginia and also we really like Winrock in Coal Creek outside of Nashville, TN. Attica is aka Badlands in Attica, western IN, west of Indianapolis. Its more like p gravel and not really sand and you will likely tear paddles up if you use them. But Attica is about same size as Haspin around 750 acres or so. WinRock in comparison is about 75,000 acres and spans a mountain range NW of Nashville. They are all good places.

Since were all geting along good , let me toss this out there. Some where in all this exchange of knowledge it was claimed that a full race banshee is untouchable in sand drags. If I was going to ride in the sand a lot I would probubly own a banshee just because I love 2 strokes. Heres the question.... you put a "full race" Banshee against a "full race" CR500 or KX500 or even a KTM 560 2 stroke. Which would win? I mean if you matched dollar for dollar mods for each. and do they run wheelie bars on drag quads?

cctman, oh ok, I know where the badlands are. I have never been there, but know people who have. They say it is pretty cool. I would really like to go to WinRock where there is 75,000 acres to ride on. This summer we might be making a trip to Hatfield McCoy in West Virginia, I heard that is some really good riding.

Are you talking about a stock frame type class, or does anything go like when people strecth them out? And yes they do run wheelie bars.

Im saying that what ever you do to the Banshee. You do to the open class 2 stroke too. Dollar for dollar, same mods for each. Or a comparable mod for the money.

I would think the 500 dirtbike either way, probably more powerfull and definately lighter. I don't really know what the potential is of a 500cc, single cylinder, 2-smoke is, I'd say a lot!

You'll have to keep me informed on when and where, I've added HM to my hit list this year, and I wouldn't mind riding with yuh. =]
