Funny how in the GNCC style racing, Bikes lap quads. I wonder why that is.
I dont think they do to well in Baja compared to bikes either.
Yes you are right, but as far as quads go................ The DS650X took 1st, 2nd and 3rd @ Dakkar this year. =]
Overall or just against other quads?
Against other quads. =]

Even if the quad did win, I find it funny that the "more advanced quad" can't win unless it is under certain conditions with specific variables. LOL

Maybe we should start using "special" instead of "advanced" when discussing quads.

Sure doo. Been riding them since ohh the early late 60's he is in his 40's now still a friggin wild man.. he sold all his dirtbikes and just rides his quads now. but he is always talkin about gettin adirtbike. but since he has to tend to the livestock on da ranch and what not the quads a lil more friendly to that aspect. but if he wants to go out any play he would waaaaaay rather have a dirtbike.

Saw a guy on a bike hauling some major ars at the dunes last time out. He got some awesome air too. Enjoyed watching him ride. But he spent a lot of time on the ground when he tried to cut it around a turn, too. Pretty typical.

I would say different machines are better suited for different types of terrain. If there was one perfect machine for every occasion, we'd all buy the same thing.

What I mean by that is when you put morons on quads, it makes for bad reputation for all quads. And there is a lot more ATVer's injured than dirtbike riders. Do a search man, there is plenty of evidence proving this.

ou are cranky. You must have just gotten your period.
Not cranky, simply making valid points that are factual. I don't see where you and cctman come up with these ignorant posts.
Stick a tampon in, it will help. Be sure to leave the string where you can reach it. The reason you are confused is because there are more quads out there then bikes. If you look at percentage of dirtbike riders that are hurt compared to percentage of quadders that are hurt, you will see that dirtbike injuries are much higher.
