Now that I have 3 yamaha quads, the subject being the 91 Blaster, I can compare clutch lever pulls between them and the Blaster's lever is 10x stronger ( harder) to work than either the 03Raptor or the 01 warrior's clutch. I suspect that the Blaster could have a new/ stiffer clutch as it has seen some miles and the raptor/ warrior are probably stock. The lever on the Blaster is free ( the pivot is not the problem) and the cable took lube well.... so can anyone tell me if the Blaster STOCK has a harder clutch pull than a warrior/ raptor, or is the issue probably an aftermarket stiffer than stock clutch? I don't want to throw money at the lever/ cable if they are stiff when new. This Blaster is for my son's GF, so we need to know how to reduce the pull for her, maybe an aftermarket lever is made with more leverage so it pulls easier?

An ez-pull clutch lever and motion pro terminator cable would lighten up the clutch pull. The blasters i've rode had reasonably light clutch pulls, probably close to what a raptor's is. My warrior's clutch pull was stiff like you're blaster's, and I thought the cable and lever were ok, but once I upgraded those the pull became much easier and smoother. It's only about $50 or 60 in parts, so it would be a worthwhile investment.
