I am only asking this because this skid plate used to show up on yamahas website for the 06 bruin and 06 kodiak (same part) now it doest. I have sent out many emails to different vendors asking if it is compatible w/ the 06 and have recieved no reply back. ( yamahas website used to show the engine/frame skid plate compatible w/ the 06 bruin/kodiak, now it doesnt, but every vendor still does) I wish I bought the FULL aftermarket chasis skid plate...but hindsight is 20/20... Anyhow, now I need to buy the engine/frame (geniune yamaha, because every other one i find is a full chasis) to complete or take a $90 hit and throw the bash plate away... please..I hope someone has bought this or knows. Thanks

I have found skid plates and bashed them in over and over again, rolled it, flipped it since this thread. lol

That looks like a bruin 250 in your pic. Making skid plates for my wifes 250 is exactly what I am going to have to do. Since they do make any skid plates for the bruin 250.

 

yep thats what ur gonna have to do i made my skid plates for 40 bucks, not to bad
