Damn if I can find either? Left under frame near gear shift pedal scraped to hell, even under skid/mounting plate. Cleaned off frame as good as I can behind/below carb… nothing. Suggestions?

 

We have had a couple of Yams through the workshop that don't ever seem to have had a serial number. Had one recently with the (unreadable) number so faint that in a year or two it will have gone altogether. Seems like Yamaha don't stamp them deep enough, and the LH lower frame tube isn't the best place to stamp VINs anyway.
