Default 686 problems

Ok so i have everything done and I have a few questions to ask. Dont know if they are serious or not.
Ok....

1: I know everything is fresh, but is it suppose to have a lot of strain when it starts. Its killing my battery.

2: Is there suppose to be so much noise in the valve train. (S2 hot cam)

3: Everything went together pretty easy, but i notice that I have no clutch. My clutch handle is wat to easy to pull.

Thanks guys, im trying to get out all the bugs cause im going to little sahara in 2 weeks.

1. Its supposed to start easily...no strain...make sure your decomp mechanism is working.
2. S2 are very noisy
3. Make sure the cover went on right and that the gears ligned up when they put the cover back on. The clutch shouldnt be easy to pull, it should feel the same as it did before. This might be a good time to update to a GYTR setup, you cant beat it for its price. If the clutch was shot, it would slip but it would still be a firm pull.

I had a guy put the rod in that yamaha brings some of their motor work to. And i had a shop bore my jug, and a buddy port my head. Other than that i have put everything together. It runs great just dosnt want to start very well. I took the cam out a little while ago and the decomp still seems to be working fine. I did notice that the decomp barely opens the exhaust valve. Do I need to adjust the valve more to get to open more? Im starting to think it might be a battery problem.
