Maintenance - what fluid for Grizz 660 '02?
I would like to replace the following fluids/plugs:
1. Final Gear Oil
2. Differential Gear Oil
3. Spark Plugs
Any idea what brand/type I can use for each? I bought a manual on Ebay, and I'm glad I did, it's great!! Thanks to all for the recommendation!! But, I can't within the manual where it says what type of plugs and fluid? Unless I'm overlooking it....
Thanks

The motor oil and the tranny oil is the same sump, and thats
API service SE, SF, SG type or higher, in 10w 30 weight.
look at page 2-1 of the manual. The important thing is to use oil which states, its good for motorcycles, or use oil which does not have moly added. If the oil container has the energy conserving star burst symbol, then it has moly.Theres issues with using moly in wet clutch motors.
Final gear oil SAE 80API “GL-4” Hypoid Gear Oil
Differential gear oil SAE 80API “GL-4” Hypoid Gear Oil
Thats also on the same page....2-1, right below the oil specs.
Final drive is the rear drive, differential is the front drive, same fluid in both. You might have a hard time finding something which is gl4, i found the amsoil synthetic gear oil is rated for gl1 thru gl5, so thats what ive been using. Alot of gear lubes just say gl5, and that isnt quite the same as one that has gl4/gl5 rating. Gl5 doesnt necesarily mean its also gl4.
on page 2-2 is the spark plug, which is
DPR8EA–9/NGK
