It does affect your top end I lost about 3-4 mph from it, With a k&N I gained about 2 mph back and hopefully with the gytr pipe I will be even better.

Well, the pipe helps with low end power. But it definitely spins up faster with it. When I got it, I had the stock wheels, I could easily pull wheelies, (still can, but larger wheels help that)

Oh, and about the higher sidewall. With these wheels, it spaces out the front about 2", which actually helps keep it planted. I don't know how many times it rolled on me with the old wheels.

the taller sidewalls are thicker ply rating so it dont roll at all,at least the mudlite xtr's dont,if you hit the trails like we do it will ride over rocks and anything else.
