Default Yfz 450 shocks on Rpaotr 660r

I have a 2005 raptor 660r, and i heard that you can put the yfz 450 shocks onto it.
How much modifications do i need to make to make this work and how much is a pair of the shocks.

you need to grind off the a-arms and a pair on ebay goes away for about $250

Not true at all...first you do not need to grind anything..set your preload to nearly zero and instal like that..it may take a long and thin pry bar to compress the shock a little to get the top bolt through.

I have them on my rappy. You need to do the grinding like vel said. The round top shock mount on the frame needs squared and the bottem mount on the a arm needs part of the U shaped mount ground off. Once you get the shocks you will see what needs done. I got lucky and picked up my 05 450 LE shocks for $150. They were new take offs.

Obviously you dont have a 660 with yfz shocks. Velocrapy is right, you need to do some grinding. I just installed a pair of yfz shocks on my 03 660 and had to grind on the top shock mount, lower control arm and a bit off the shocks.
