I beg to differ about the 400ex, yea its got an easy point, but it's also a narrow one, bein a 660 owner, i know it's not quite the best either, throttle is touchy for long wheelies.. now i also have a raptor 350 (wife) and i have to say, that is the easiest quad to ballance i've ever been on, i can go well over a quarter mile, and i'm not that good on it.

Ive never ridden a 400ex or a z400 but i would have to say one of them. Judging that on the stunt videos ive seen. Ive never been that impressed by a raptors wheelies. I own a banshee now and its hard to hold a wheelie once you hit the powerband. Powerband is great for bringing it up though. I think im gunna get a 400ex or a z400 next summer.

IMO my kfx 700 is the most simple quad...no clutching or shifting.
I can bring her up from a dead stop and ride it up to 65 mph the slow back to 1 mph, and never let the front down....right hand on the gas and left on the rear brake.

Lots of good and funny answers here. I recently traded rides on my stock 400EX with a loaded 440EX. For me wheelies were much easier to hold with stock motor because of the smoother bottom and mid range and less hit. For everything else except tight trails the 440EX was more fun. So like many on here my vote goes to my own ride which is box stock 400EX.
