While riding, I am noticing there is a kind of... Im not sure how to describe it, but near the front sprocket its like the chain is grinding against something I took the chain guard off, and when I have the backend blocked up and just spin the axle, it still gives the same sound, I took some chain lube and greased it up, but still same sound., it doesnt' sound good, any ideas? or should I bring er' to the dealership and see what they can do? (under the warranty still)

Yeah , my Raptor is doing the exact same thing ... I really notice it especially when I'm cruising along in 5th , just touching the throttle and sometimes in 3rd & 4th . it's a loud chatter sound coming out of the left side of the motor, I thought my chain was loose too , but it wasn't, whatever it is .... it definately doesn't sound good. I'm taking it in to my dealer after the long weekend.

No, this sound is definately not normal ..... I owned an 03 660 and it made a noise or two once in a while , but nothing like this. I just hope my dealer doesn't try to tell me it's normal ..... I've been around engines long enough to know better. Let us know what your dealer has to say when you take it in.
