Problem with Wolverine
#1
My 1999 Wolverine has started acting up. It acts like it doesn't want to take the gas at approximately mid range when it is warmed up. It runs fine when the engine is cool. It has just started doing this and seems to be getting worse. I would appreciate any advice.

did you ever get this issue resolved?? Last weekend my '96 started behaving the same way. I could still go anywhere at low speed but it just won't open up. It's as if it is choking.
I pulled the carb off and had it cleaned, but no change.
I did notice as I was putting it back on that it has a small wear hole in the diaphram cover. This would kill the vaccum that is supposed to draw the drop door when the motor is rev'ed. I am going to attempt to cold weld the hole and try it, but would like to know how you made out.

Interesting, I was told to suspect the coil as well. How did you test it? Let me know if it solves the problem. Don't want to buy another one on the "chance", however I could always switch off the one on my 2001 and test it that way. You mean the main ignition coil, right? the one that's under the front fender and leads directly to the spark plug?
