Combining Wolverine and Big Bear Engines

Combining Wolverine and Big Bear Engines
Hi all.
does anyone know if it is feasible to combine the top end from a 350 Wolverine with the bottom end of a Big Bear Engine?
The case on my Wolvy got cracked and I need a new one, but will be too pricey to buy a new case then swap all the parts over. One solution I have is to keep my piston, cylinder and head, then transfer them over to the bottom half of a Big Bear engine that I can get for cheap.
If this were do-able, the new combination would have the lower gearing of a big bear, with a little better performance than the stock big bear engine and the nicer ride of being in a wolverine chassis.
Has anyone tried this, or know if it is possible?

I have heard of something like this. It sure has been a while though. I would assume you are talking about the Big Bear 350, and if so I cant see any reason why that wont work. Do a few searches here, and do a few on some other sites and see what you come up with. If I get time I will do the same. Whatever you find out, please post it for us.
