By the way dont take offense to the 'CRAPTOR' thing. I own one and really like it for a trail machine. But if you want arm ripping power in an atv.......Its not fast unless there's oil in the gas.

Well i think a highly modified blaster would be right behind a raptor if not right beside it ..and in a short drag the blaster would totally eat it up....And as far as a track race it would come down to the riders and the experince ...But the way i see it all the money that you spend buying a new raptor you could buy a blaster and have everything modified.....Then you would have a sharp and wicked bike...While the 4 stroke guys would have a stock machine

i have a raptor 660r with
k&n air filter
fmf pipe
whitebrothers end pipedaul pipe and carb
my friends blaster 200 with a few mods he did will beat me top end but not in 0 to top end-(0-60)

but like any 2 stroke the blaster realy has no top speed if you run 6th top end for 30 seconds you could gain 5mph

Stock Crank and bearings, 1200+ rpm chip, which means it would rev out at about 10,400 rpms, or around there. And if you dont believe my MPH numbers throw some money in your CRAPTOR, and THEN and ONLY then will you experience arm ripping TORQUE. i agree stock CRAPTORS are nothing to be afraid of but when you open them up, let breath a little better(stage 3 port and polish), and give em some more Swang'n room (686 big bore kit). you got a ridiculously fast machine, fully capable of doing a 100+. my buddy's got a fully worked 440 (i think) Shee with a hemi head and what not and well both do over 100 not problem. not to mention that we're side by side on everything but asphalt. now you want a 2 stoke beast get a Shee and gain 100+ cc's and stop ridin those lil' boys quads.

P.S. have fun rebuilding your 250r, every 6 months, LOL ill stick with my 4 stroke "THUMPER".

I rebuild my 250 about every 2 seasons and all it costs me is the price of the piston. I do all my own work. Now lets see.. my 250 weighs about 105lbs less than your rappy and when i get home on Sat ill post my dyno sheet showing 62hp to the rear wheels. Not bad for a little boys quad. Thats almost double the stock power of a rappy and something tells me that you didnt double your hp with your mods

who said an-y-thing about a STOCK raptor???? I HATE stock craptors !!!!! I own a RAPE-tor, all the money i put in the fahker please gimme some respect. either way im sure you love ur machine as mush as I do mine. and i dont have the time or money to dyno my machine but....... im sure im pushin well over 60 hp, and if for some wacky reason im not, believe you me ill dump another grand into that S.O.B. and get the 727 stroker kit. NOW THATS DEDICATION.

PS - as some genius gear head stated in another post, "Hp numbers are great but TORQUE is what moves your machine". Trust me when i say ive got 2MuchTorque.

u do enough to blasters they are flippin fast this blaster would def win in a shorter drag but of course the reaptor would win in a longer race jus cuz its geared higher

My buddy has a 240 Blaster, with about everything you can possibly do to it, and top speed was only about 67 mph. he have about 12grand into this thing, and we had a race with my DVX a 660 and a 700. it went 400 - 700 - 660 - 240. The 240 had us all off the line, but when we hit 3rd gear we were gone.

just so you all know
a rappy has the most stock hp at 42{and i mean stock} add on pipes and intake it will reach above 60hp pretty well
and who ever has the honda 250 your top speed must be like 40 if your little thing has that much hp
and the blaster is fast as hell flat ground but last week end my rappy smoked a custom blasty up a paved road me fourth him 6th
and when you can pop wheelies in 4th then you have hp
