bogs on take off

I have a raptor 350 and it bogs on take off for about 2-3 seconds, then its fine. the wierd thang is if I turn off the gas it runs better, then when its on. thanks for any help.

Sounds like it's running a bit rich. Have you done any jetting changes? You may want to inspect and clean the air filter.

i have a new air filter, the only thing that was done was, a high compression piston, and a webcam .430 with spring kit. i yesterday i took out the baffel (sp) and air lid off and it ran fine.

Have you rejetted after those mods?

i had a shop put in the piston, cam and spring. they didnt re-jet it. i thought it only need jetted if u put in a aftermarket filter, or put on a exhaust?

All those mods alter how much air and fuel the engine is sucking in. You'll without a doubt need to rejet with those mods.
