Banshee Chain/Sprocket question....................
Ok, yesterday i picked up a 13 tooth sprocket. I put it on the banshee and the chain was EXTREMELY long (i could touch the top and bottom chain together) even with the axle set all the way back. So i called one of my buddies over and we took one of the links out of the chain. Well then It was too short even with the axle set all the way forward. So i ended up having to take the bottom chain roller thing off for the chain to even fit. It has about an inch of play in it right now. My question is will that hurt the chain at all? It doesnt seem to be effecting it that much. Also the reason i got the sprocket was to do wheelies a little easier but now it seems like there harder to hold for long distances. Do you think that is from the chain or the sprocket?
P.S. I click through gears like nothing now. I shift every second or so when i have it mashed.

Banshee Chain/Sprocket question....................
it should have about an inch up and down with you on it it will wear the chain/sprockets out faster. Plus it will start to wear the carrier out to faster . I recomend 1 bigger in front and 3 bigger in back than stock . That will give you more mechanical torque out of the motor and wont lose the top end of the gear plus wont have to shift as fast . Plus will hook up the tires better to lift the front. Drag secret

Banshee Chain/Sprocket question....................
yup, dont do that. its the same ratio.
sit on the bike. Compress the rear shock the best you can. while compressed adjust your chain (have your friend help) and give yourself an inch of play. if your chain is tight with you sitting on it, it will be worse when you jump it, hit a hard corner, ect.

Banshee Chain/Sprocket question....................
This is a common situation with Banshees but easy to remedy. Just remove the entire back axle and wheels and then extend the curved slot on both sides by about 3/8 of and inch. I drilled a 3/8 in hole at end of curved slot and then filed out until the slot smoothly matched new hole. This comes up everytime you extend Banshee swingarm.
