the first thing im gonna do is get a skid plate for the rear swing arm. after that i wanna get exhaust, but its so expensive..... whats a good slipon/ full exhaust kit, but still kinda cheep... i know cheep and quality dont really go hand in hand but.... o well. then i was thinkin jets and a filter. is there a single carb conversion kit for the raptors? i have seen them for the banshees, but i have yet to see any.

Get the filter first. After that the exhaust. Then worry about the skid plates and other stuff. The exhaust is the most expensive but the most benificial as well. Its always worth it to save and get what you want, never go cheap.

 

With exaust, you will need to rejet, i believe. But you probably already knew that.

 

ya i planed on getting the jets the same time as i get the pipe.... i need the skid plate cause im tired of hitting on rocks and stuff..... anyone know about the single carb thing..... cause id do that instead of jetting......

 

awesome... um yeah the plan that u got is good. but i would get a filter when u buy the skid plate if your buying from like rmatv. And i read some where ct racing full system for a raptor gives like 15 horses. i dont know if its true but thats what the graph said. ct is good stuff 2 u just got to pay for it. lmao

I don't know if you ride in rocks or not but go with skids FIRST!! swing arm and engine.
Air filter, pipe and jets do all at once.
Save up if you have to.

 

If you are looking to do skid playes go on ebay and look up xfrproatv I believe is the name of the seller. It cost me 200 Us with shipping for the rear skid plate and nerf bars. I have a 03 660 LE and have a k&n and 1 jet size up and I kill my buddys 2001 660 and I weigh 40 lbs more than him. Is not expensive to do but gives more power. Also if you feel like the raptor is to tippy get some +2 offset rims they made all the difference in the world on mine and all ive done itd the fronts so far.
