hey everyone LONG time since I posted while I was looking for quads. Well I have a raptor 350 for the girl and 660 for me. I was thinking about dropping to a 12 tooth front gear on the 660. I am really pressed for cash right now but want a little more power/accel. I ride almost solely in the dunes.I just cant spring the cash yet but will be getting intake/exaust/jet kit in the near future for both. My ? is weather this would be smart on a bike with NO mods at all. less then $20 a piece seems like a good cost for an upgrade. Also can I do the same gear drop for the 350? Would one lower be 12 for that as well? I did a search but all the bikes had mods. Thanks in advance!

Go ahead and put it on, you will see a good difference.

 

You can always switch it back if you don't like the gearing. I would just walk out to the quads and count the teeth on there now. Dropping a tooth will definately get you better acceleration, you should be able to carry a gear higher on most turns too. Top speed is going to suffer though.
