Default Front rubber for the 700R

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has changed their front tyres on their 700? I mostly ride trails, muddy and slippery clay tracks. I was thinking about the Razr II. I have had the Razr II rears on the 660 and they were great but not sure about the front?

I have holeshot HD's (all around) and absolutly LOVE them for trails.

worth the extra $ for sure. Check out my pics for how sexy they look too.

Yeah they look good. Do they flick mud up at you? I heard that the Razr II were bad for it, but the holeshots look a bit less agressive so they may not be too bad.

I also highly recommend Holeshots. I have the XC3s on front and rear (stock sizes), the bike turns so much better than stock on our dry, then muddy (after they water) MX tracks here in SoCal. They're 6-ply, but have a soft feel to them and should work well for trail riding.

i just put a set of RAZRll tires on my Z400 all around and they get great traction and look very aggressive, they do tend to throw mud up a little though.

Sweet thanks for the feed back. I will have to look into the Holeshots. Now the next challenge is finding them down here in Australia...

The only problem ive had with them throwing mud up is when its deep water accually. Then again i do have my fenders too, im sure they help alot. But they are 6ply and EXTREMELY sticky, you would be amazed at the things they will pick up.

You will not be dissappointed if you go with HD's
