Default Blaster clutch help?

My old 97 Blaster had a problem today. While my son was riding he told me the clutch quit working. I checked it out and it appears the push lever moves but it does not compress the springs. I'm not sure how the blaster system is put together but is there something simple that would cause this? The clutch is still locked up just fine as I was able to ride the quad back to the truck but pulling the clutch lever does nothing but move the push lever around, the quad will stall as soon as you stop and it cannot disengage via the clutch lever.

Try spraying some silicon grease down the inside of the clutch cable, it might of just froze up in there.

The cable is fine, the push lever on the case moves with only it's spring pushing against it. Definitely not a cable issue, it's down in the case but I dont know which way to approach it, clutch side or try to pull the push lever.

Try a different kind of tranny fluid. Might help a bit.
