YFZ PROBLEMS!
Stock needle in the 05 was set on the 4th clip I believe.
Stock needle on the 06 has no adjustment. you have to replace the needle with one that has multiple grooves such as the needles in the 04 and 05.
Not sure of the pilot jet and main jet on the 06.
Also, you can't get to the fuel screw on the 06 without drilling out the bottom of the carb (from what I've been told). So without modification to the bowl, there's no adjusting the fuel screw either. seems they really want you to leave the 06 stock. (like anybody is going to do that ....) Thanks, ya i heard about that emission thing, now it makes sence. I think hes going to just buy an 05 yfz carb and throw it on his 06 bill balance edition, that way he can adjust it if ever need too. It pops off the line and sputters on hills and bumps, and seems to get worse as it gets hotter.
Thanks,

No no no. Just have him open up the access hole for the mix screw, and buy a Zip-Ty or equivelent to put in it, and upgrade the needle. Probably only looking at $35.00 or so vs 4 or 500 something for a new FCR that still would at least benefit from a new fuel screw. That is the cheapest way to get adjustability, and sounds like he needs to do a little jetting work anyway.
