Raptor 350 Skid Plate question?
I am a newbie at this. I bought a 2006 Raptor 350 in June. Runs great and I love it. I recently bought a swing arm skid plate (GYTR from Yamaha) for it. It installed fine, but the chain rubs against that white bar that's attched to the plate. It makes a nasty noise when I'm riding it. I tightened the chain (within specs) but it still makes the noise. Why does it do this? Do I need to sand down that white bar? It's a freaking Yamaha part so I expected it to fit better than that. Please help.

i dont think this is a good idea, but the only thing that comes in mind is that you could put some washers or spacers between the swingarm and the skid to lower the skid down so it doesnt rub against the chain guard, but if you keep using it, the chain will rub agaisnt that until it clears out part of the plastic so it doesnt rub against it
