I have a 2001 banshee, instead of going and spending money on rear wheel spacers I turned the rims around and gain about two inches. You might end up with the tire valve inside but your ride will defenitly improve. It`s a easy and cheap way to get your back end wider. Later Reg

hey reg!!! If the banshee back tire is anything like the raptor back tire, you will loose width if you turn it around. Also, I tried to turn the fronts around on my Raptor and the valve stem is hitting, any fixes¿?

I flipped the front wheels around on my Raptor. Take the tire off the rim. Remove the valve stem. Replace with a new stem inserted in the oposite direction (valve end inside rim). This will plug the original hole without interferring with the brake caliper.

Drill a 7/16 hole on the other side of the rim. Place in another new valve stem only though with valve side out ofcourse...

Dreamduner, Durablue does make an Eliminator 2+2 axle that fits the Banshee, Blaster, & Raptor. Sounds hokey, but it works fine. It is not too hard to install, but to get the lock nut supplied with the axle to work, you may need to have about 1/4" machined off of your existing disc carrier like I did. (No big deal) Makes a nice difference in stability, and looks a hell of a lot better too. I got mine from Dycorp, Inc., they advertise in Dirt Wheels. About the pipe...I'm leaning towards Yoshimura. I like the quality, and they always back up the claims with results. Be sure to jet your bike richer, because they are super lean stock!

You can buy low-profile valve stems for the front wheels, if you plan to turn them around. I friend uses them and likes the handling.

The DuraBlue Axle for the banshee is the same for the Raptor except the Locknut has to be milled 1/8 inch. You can order whatever width axle you would like +2. I ordered +3 to +5 to bring the rear out to 50in.

I put spacers on my Warrior thinking the same thing. Guess what I bent the stock axle the first half hour I was riding. The other guy said to be cautious about the Durablue warrenty. Don't worry about that I've broken mine twice and have had them send me a new one no questions asked. You must send in your warrenty card though. I've had my third one on for 2 years now and have not had a problem with this one. The place where they were breaking was at the end of the taper where the knurls start. I love my 2+2 axle plus off set wheels. My Warrior handles like a dream. My buddies thinking of getting one for his 400ex. Because I smoke him in the turns. You can rail it.
