Default Warrior problems!!!

Hello, im having a problem with my warrior. When i drive it down the road and try to top it out it feels like it is holding back and gets bursts of power and starts jerking around. I took my dg krome exhaust system off and the carb was jetted for that pipe and i was wondering iff that could be the reason im not able to go very fast. I was racing a 300 ex and i was sure to win but i lost. Please help. thanks

Actually, If this had been jetted for the DG pipe, and you put the stock pipe on instead, you'd be jetted too fat, or rich. It could very well be your problem

If you are running with the airbox lid on, you can go back to stock jets. If you have the lid off and returned to the stock pipe, you are still to rich but you will also need to go up a smidge from stock jetting. That feeling you are getting sounds a lot like running rich.

So, i should just put my stock jets back in and leave my stock pipe on, what can i get that will make the warrior go faster but not take much away from my bottom end. Because right now my warrior has no bottom end and no top end it is slow. I had my brother race me on the road with my 300ex and he beat me and then I had him race me with my 02 warrior and he blew me away.

Id sell the warrior and 300ex and buy a 400-450+ You wont get the performance your looking for out of a 300ex or a warrior.

If you want more power, why are you dumping the aftermarket exhaust? If you don't like that exhaust, then it is time to pony up for a different one.
