Default Unbelievable, Warrior Help!! please

Hello, I am in desprate need of some tech help. I rebuilt my carb, put my carb all back togeather, everything was back togeather, and I tuned my carb it was running perfect. When you wack the throttle it wouldn't hesitate at all. so I hit the throttle a couple times then one last hit to blow the rest of the carb clean out of the carb and the engine bogged down and had no power it gradually started ticking and it seems like its ticking all over the engine. I took the valve covers off and the timing chain cover off and the valves were out of adjustment and I just adjusted them not that long ago. I need help what should i do.

Did you check to see if the timing chain is loose?, I noticed an engine tick on my Wolverine (same engine as Warrior) so I found out I had to replace my timing chain, it would not tighten anymore because it streched. This could throw off your timing.

Well, i will try this tomorrow how do i adjust the timing? Also would this cause the ticking to get louder as the rpm's increase. I was thinking that maybe it jumped out of time and because the timing jumped it caused all the valves to get loose. I dont know though I just dont want to have to rebuild my engine. thanks

I did not notice mine getting louder as the RPM's increased. You adjust the timing like this....First remove the sparkplug so you can turn over the engine easy, next remove the timing chain cover, next remove the black plug from the top of the left crankcse cover, now turn over the engine slowly so you are at Top Dead Center on the compression stroke and align the "T" mark in the hole you removed the black plug from with the notch in the threads (you will see). Now look at the cam sprocket it should have a mark on it, and it should line up with a mark on the head just above the sprocket. If everything is aligned your timing is ok.
