I have a 2000 Banshee that I received in a trade for a snowmobile. Everytime I kick over this thing the kickstarter stays down and does not spring back up. I have to reach down and pull it back up, it actually sticks in a spot so it does not come back up. It starts fine, but this very annoying especially for my wife and daughter. Any fix it advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

 

There is a spring inside that pulls the starter back up. I have see the springs snap in the middle of the coil. I'm pretty sure thats all the problem is. Its not hard to fix, but getting everything together just right can be kind of tricky the first time. Just take your time.. get a new gasket and spring.
