i e mailed dmc for the same info you wanted and they never e mailed me back,i guess they think because there pipes look cooler than every one elses no one will care how good they work,i really like their pipes but good looks dont make it go faster and unless they show me some numbers ill probabley end up with a ct or sparks, big gun not out of the question either

I also emailed them for HP #`s. I also wanted to know if there was a spark arrester. I never heard bach from them. Its been a long time now. The pipe sure looks cool. Does anyone know if you get more power from the complete 2 pipe system compared to a Y- pipe design? Most companys have the Y-pipe.

Do they have a web site? Where did you see the picture of the system?

i talked to the engineering dept. at DMC ! HP gains are between 10-11 hp. After reviewing there graphs, i am impressed with the improvement from low to top end. They will be shipping the ALIEN out in about 15 days. The reason im getting the alien is because of the sound, stock pipe is 92-94dbs, and DMC Alien is 102-104dbs. Thats alot of hp gain for a not so loud system DMC does have a spark arrestor for teh raptor alien exhaust, its about $55, complete system is $529 from dmc!!!
You can go buy a sparks or graydon proline exhaust and get 16 plus hp gains but i dont think my ears can handle all the noise. I talked to the owner at graydon proline and there exhaust will be tested in feb DIRTWHEELS.
the website for DMC, www.dmc-on-line.com

Radkx250....it does'nt seem like those numbers would make a big difference in sound levels, but 10db's is perceived as "DOUBLING" sound levels.

radkx250, Was the 10-11 hp gain with or without airbox mods? Was it on a california model raptor? I heard they put out less power stock? Not sure Is the $529 price with the spark arrester? Thanks

though the 10dbs more might be doubling the sound, i would hate to hear some of the other pipes on the market! Both sparks and graydon proline said there systems produce more power along with more noise. i asked if there exhaust game with earplugs, lol. the dmc alien for $529 is without the spark arrestor. i think it was motojoe that had it for $499.00, i guess if you want more power you have to put up with some noise.I guess i should be glad i have a raptor and my buddies are riding in my dust, they will hear the dmc alien loud and clear
