06 Grizzly Sputtering,Backfire,Stall
I have a 06 Grizzly, just recently started sputtering, backfiring, and stalling..
It runs fine for 10 or 15 min at a time, and just starts acting up, doesnt want to start back up at first.
Can usually get it started with the choke, or just wait a few min.
Changed the plug, looked black and oily..... Any ideas...
I DONT think i did... but if i did accidently add 2 cycle mix gas on accident, would these be any of the symptoms...
like i said, i dont think i did that, but my buddy runs mix and we rode last before it started acting up.. If i did, i assume i didnt damage anything but how to clean out?
thanks,
ben, wheeling, wv

This happened to me, i found mud in the end of the fuel cap vent tube and the tank would vapor lock, i found that when it stalled i could unscrew the cap and hear the tank vent and then it would go for a while and it would stall again, i would check the vent tube. I actually took the whole cap appart and cleaned it out really good, Good Luck.
