Default Reverse? on my 660

I feel like a jerk comming on here with all of these questions , but the dealer hasnt been the most friendly with me. I am not sure how to get the quad into reverse. I thought it was too 1.put quad in nuetral 2. turn **** to right 3. pull the clutch in 4. put quad in first.. But everytime I do that i end up in 1st.. If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it.

Put the quad in first gear, hold the clutch, then turn the **** and kick down into reverse.

Hey, its a bit tricky the first time, I find it easier when you are in first, pull the clutch in, turn and hold the rev switch and then press down on your shifter. Reverse is below 1st, R-1-N-2-3-4-5. But unfortunatly reverse is pretty much useless on the raptors due to the rev limiter, but once you bypass that it is great. Do a quick search and you will find the procedure to do so. Good luck

Finny....
it's just like how the other poster have described.....
I would add get used to your machine b-4 eliminating the reverse rev limiter. I have seen and experienced some unfavorable episodes with it eliminated.....BE CAREFUL and have fun with your new raptor.....

Don't feel like a jerk. That is what this Forum is all about. Giving us a place to communicate with each other. If someone has a problem with your questions they shouldn't reply. Good luck and have fun with your new toy. Be safe.

ok guys thanks alot. I figured it out this morning. Once it's in reverse it's kind of tricky to get the bike rolling without stalling it. I did figure it out..Thanks alot.
