Default Big Bear Plastic repair

I'm a real newbie in ATV's. Just picked up an '01 Big Bear 400, 4 WD. Pretty good shap except for a "crazed" fuel gauge and a rip in the fron fender. Can the plastic be "glued" and how and with what kind of glue or what. Thanks in advance. albe

I don't think any kind of glue is going to do any good for long. The best thing to do is probably to stitch it up with zip ties. Get some small zip ties that match the color of your plastic, then drill a hole just big enough for the tie to pass through on each side of the crack all the way down, spaced out every inch or so. It won't be the prettiest thing in the world, but it'll keep your fender on.

I second the zip tie method. It really works. See fender repairs like that on the trail all the time. Like said, not real pretty but it works.
