I just bought a UNI filter for my 96 Warrior. When I went to install it a noticed the UNI is a clamp-on type filter and the stock just sits in place. The package says the filter is for a Warrior but I don't understand how to install it. Any advice on how to install it would be helpfull.

I believe Pro Design sells just the billet mount for a Warrior on which you can mount your Uni. Failing that, you best bet is to return the Uni & simply buy the entire Pro Flow kit. It comes with a two stage filter system with all the hardware and possibly a better system anyway.

I have the same filter on my warrior. Yes i noticed it came with a clamp but i got it to work for me. I didn;t use the clamp but i used the inside screen, put the filter over that, than put the plastic piece on front of the screen thing that goes under the filer and just installed it. It seems to work perfectly for me, had not 1 problem yet! Try to fool around with the stock pieces and the ones they gave you for something to fit right. If u have any questions about it than just post it. Peace
