Default good premix ratio for blaster (amsoil)

im running a 50:1 ratio with premium for my buddies blaster. it smokes quite a bit. on the amsoil bottle it said use 50:1 so thats what i did. my neighbor said that it might be a 32:1 ratio but he wasnt sure. is that right? if not tell me. i just rebuilt the top end so i dont want my rings to get stuck or any of that junk. thanks guys

can anyone give me a good ratio? becasue 50:1 is too much oil, you can actually see the oil dripping out before the exhaust, and its smoking alot. would it be safe to run 32:1??? I NEED ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah but doesnt 35:1 use more oil than 50:1? im trying to figure out why its smoking so excessively. i did some tests and it turns out that its not burning trans oil. so the only thing that i can think of is that i have too much oil in my ratio. and im talking EXCESSIVE smoke.

50 to 1 is leaner than 32 to 1. Basically if you are mixing 32 to 1 you are using more oil than 50 to 1. I use Amsoil Dominator at 50 to 1 on my 250r and I have oil dripping out of the joints of the exhaust and have smoke at start up and a little when I gas it. On my Blaster I still use oil injection, I run the Amsoil interceptor and have a little oil build up at the tip of my exhaust and only smoke at startup. I heard the blaster oil injection systems, inject oil at close to 20 to 1. So I think the Dominator makes more smoke than the Interceptor because of it's additives. Anyways how much have you ridden it. Your jetting may also be rich.

What kind of jetting are you running? And how much smoke does it put out. Also which Amsoil are you using?

If it's smoking your probably getting plenty of fuel and oil to the motor, so you can probably ride it and get it broke in. Maybe it will clear up. How are you mixing it by a ratio rite cup or the graduations on the side of the oil bottle?
