87 big bear smoke
i went and added a quart of oil (API SF 10w40). it was low. rechecked the level and all seemed fine. i actually want to change the oil, but i don't have that size socket. i'll have to get it tomorrow.
anyways, after i ckecked the level i started it up and there's whitish smoke coming out of the exhaust. it doesn't go away either. i ran it for a total of about 10 minutes hoping it would go away and it didn't.
this is the only time i've ever noticed it. i'll pull it out of the garage tomorrow and start it up. i don't really know anything about atvs or bikes so i don't know where to look except in the clymer book.
any ideas or suggestions?

if it is white smoke then i think u added to much oil. I did the same thing accidently cause my grizzly burns oil and so i have to refill it quit a bit. What happened was the oil was squirting into the air box and going into the air filter and into the carb and in the gas. so since i was in the middle of no where and no tools i could not drain it so i had no choice but to keep on truckin. eventually it burned the excess oil off and was back to normal, that is no more white smoke but back to the usual blue. so just drain it and add the correct amount and see what happens
