2002 Beartracker carb problems.
Hello,
I have a 2002 beartracker that is having some problems. First let me say i have ran carb cleaner throught it changed spark plug and new airfilter. Now the problem is that when i get on it it likes to stuter unless i run with choke on! i would just run with it on but it wont idle or come close to a idle with it on! I can find and adjust. screws exept idle but i am not to familiar with carbs especially fourwheeler carbs! any help is apreciated

Hi there..I had the same problem today and now it runs great..You need to familiarize yourself with the carberetor since thats the problem. If you can get the carberetor just enough to turn it upside down. That way you can get to the carb. jets since they are most likely getting dirty. Buy some carb jet spray cleaner and spray your jets and the inside of your carb.

I have an 01 beartracker and had some carb problems what it turned out to be was where the carb mounts to the engine there is a rubber to aluminum flange (don't know the exact term) but that flange is molded together the rubber came off the aluminum part you have to buy the whole thing new $35 check that out.
