wheel spacers yes or no?

i want to make my raptor 350 about four inches wider in the rear and i been looking for ways to do that and i found the stud wheel spacers. i was wondering if they are safe and long lasting. i dont go over very big jumps mostly trail rides and i want it to be more stable.

i dunno about the stud ones. I got the billet aluminum block ones and I love them. The studs scare me a little bit. On my wolverine I put them on when i went up to 25 inch tires from 23. They gave me an overall width gain of 3 inches and made a world of difference. i think highlifter.com sells them. I got mine on ebay. Have had them for two years or so I ride on two wheels all the time and my bike is a good bit heavier than a raptor ive had no issues at all with them.

Avoid those stud extending spacers at all costs, they're just a deathtrap, or at least a quick way to end up straned on the trail when they break. There are better options. Either the spacers that are an aluminum "block" (more like a ring I guess) that bolt onto the hubs, and then bolt onto the wheels. I think the best way to go is with the G-force extended hubs, which will eliminate the spacers completely, so you have less unsprung weight and less to potentially fail. A pair of extended hubs is only about $75 I think.

its a cheep way to widen ur bike for a reason. ull snap the sudes and it puts alot of stress on ur ball joints because it throws off the geomitry of the front end. it puts more stress on everything. picture this. what is less stress on ur wrist, holding a 1 foot long steel rod or a 3 foot long steel rod. the longer it is the harder it is. i woudlnt go more than 1 inch. just get a wider axle. its not to much money and its ALOT safer
