Default Tires for a 2007 Grizzly 450???

Does anybody know about if 26 inch tires are ok to put on a 2007 Grizzly 450? Will a lift kit be needed?

I have 26" radial ACT's on my 06 Kodiak, they fit fine-plenty of clearance all around.

I have a 06 Kodiak 450 with 27x10x12 up front and 27x12x12 on back. My tires are Kenda bear claws and I have no trouble with rubbing my fenders. Ground clearance was a huge improvement. I also have 2 friends with the exact same set-up. One on a Bruin 350 and one on a Grizzly 660. Neither of us have any problems.

I have a 06 Kodiak 450 and a 07 Grizzly 450 both with 26/10/12 front and 26/12/12 rear mudlite xt tires on itp type 7 rims with no problems. Much improvement over stock tires and rims.

He's completely factory. He just bought a set of 27 inch mudlite's and ITP wheels. 10's up front and 12's on back. He can follow the bigger quads through every mudhole, jump, hill, river, etc...

i have a 2002 kodiak 400 with new 26"itp mudlite xls [26x9x12] on front and[26x10x12] on rear on c-series type 7 wheels and they are awesome in mud and over obstacles but you'll lose some comfort on the extremely hard surfaces like rocky roads. but overall i like them alot. you'll just have to get used to more tire spin in 2-wheel going up hills and more jerking of handle bars on tree roots and ruts. the tires get awesome traction and will pretty much pull you up a tree if you can hang on.but, yes they will fit just fine and you will gain about 2" of ground clearance with the 1 1/8 lug. i highly recommend them. i do not suggest anything bigger than 9" width on the front though. i think if you go with 10" or more you won't be happy with the difference. good luck and"hang on"!
