I got you on the grips,
I have only ridden on my road 3-4 times, and paddles r so freckin fun in the snow and ice with snow on it
you should have seen the pipe when i got it, i needed to re-jet, and i just got the quiet core a couple days ago
as for the +6 thing, i dont feel like dropping $450 plus on only +2 a-arms

and for sudsy, glad to help, i dont have a gps unit thingy, so i'll have my dad next to me in his truck if he can keep up. lol

My wife's Raptor350 will hit 70 no problem ......on the back of my truck....

No way would a Raptor 350 hit anywhere near 70 unless it has serious engine work and a huge gearing set-up.....

A stock z400 will hit near 70, probably 65-68 is average but I've heard people say they hit 70.......

Top speed is all about gearing..... you could set up a 100hp Banshee to have a top speed of 75mph or 100mph ..........

Checking your speed by pacing with a vehicle is a waste of time. Almost all vehicles register faster speeds on the speedo than actual speeds. Car makers do this on purpose. I have a radar gun that is calibrated and rarely does the vehicle speed indicated by speedometer match what the actual speed is. And remember unless you have a surveyors GPS they can have an accuracy error up to 15%.

Stock my Raptor 350 had a top speed of 59 mph by radar gun, once in a while it would bump 60. After some mods it would hit 63 mph but that was it.

For the guy that said you spent your money poorly, people have different needs, you might not need grips, guards, and all the performance mods. You might not ride as hard as him I dont know.

I have spent about 700 on extras for my brand new wolverine 450 and I want a little more power so i will probably spend another 3-500 on it in the next few months.

Having your dad check your speed with his truck is a good idea as long as you are in front or behind him, never ride alongside a truck because if something happens you could get smashed.

hey ctsateusa, i would never ride next to me dad in his truck on my narrow road, he's got a dodge cummins diesel dually, he'll crush me!

and speedy, i feel most all of the mods i have done were necessary for how i ride except for the damn computer, heated grips, and graphics.
i'm gonna see if i can get my hands on a speed gun or a wider road with a different car next to me, or a snowmobile on the ice, and i'll stud my tires or put the paddles on

i live in the suburbs and the police put out the radar guns with boards on them that tell you your speed. if u can find one of them buy you those are good to use.... as long as you have enough room. and most car speedos are within 2-3 mph of what it says.... expecily new cars with wheel speed sensors

I totally agree... you only have a couple performance mods, none of which will increase your top speed that much. Maybe your speedo. is off? I don't know. How old are you? I'm 14 and finally got 6000 to spend on a Wolfy 450, not bad if you ask me.
Don't spend it on a Wolfy. lol. Buy something better ..

pacing it with a car is a good way to tell. if it is a older car it may be off by a few mph, but if its a newer car its probly dead on..... same with a motorcycle
