I have a trail tech endurance spedo and with my few mods and 12/40 gearing i can only hit 54-57 running hard with stock gearing id top out around 60-63 on the road but id like the low gearing much better and its not your magnet it's just not dialed in rite.

IT HAS TO BE SET... read all of this.

What wheel size should I put into the computer?

The first thing you need to know for any of the computers is the rolling circumference of your wheel. For the ATV's, a good mid-range number to use is ---1676mm--- (number derived from a 400EX with stock front tires and minimal treadwear). Here are some additional numbers for consideration:

QUAD
WHEEL SIZE
TIRE
MEASUREMENT

400EX
22 inches
Stock dirt
1676 mm

Raptor
23 inches
Pure Sport Bandit
1727 mm

Raptor
21 inches
Stock dirt
1572 mm

Raptor
21 inches
RA Shredder dirt
1562 mm

Polaris Magnum 2WD

Stock dirt
1803 mm

Honda Four Trax 300 23 inches Stock dirt 1715 mm
Kawasaki Bayou 4x4 23 inches Stock dirt 1746 mm
Polaris Predator 21 inches Stock dirt 1572 mm

Since there will be some variation due to different tire styles and treadwear, you may make the measurement yourself by marking the front tire and the ground with a felt pen, then rolling the bike/quad until the mark makes one full revolution and returns to the ground. Then make another mark on the ground next to the mark you already put on the tire. Measure the distance on the floor between these two marks and this will be the rolling circumference of your tire. To convert this number to mm multiply by 25.4.

If you want your computer to be exact, set your computer wheel circumference to 1676mm (or whatever you determine from the above method). Find a length of road where you know the exact distance. Ride the distance and note the distance you computer reads. Lets say your road was five miles and your computer showed it as 4.95 miles:

1676/X = 4.95/5.00

Solving for X gives you:

X=1676*5.00/4.95 = 1693mm

What is the difference between the Panoram model and the Endurance model?

Our latest computer is Endurance. We no longer sell Panoram. Improvements/changes are:

Scratch and chemical resistant screen for the Endurance computer.
Different internal electrical contacts for the Endurance computer.
Faster processor for the Endurance computer (updates speed at 2X the rate)
Different programming for the Endurance computer to allow for Enduro riding (increment and decrement)
Impact resistant case for the Endurance computer.

can't answer that but i have a question but it may seem stupid to you guys. if you all know anything on dirt bikes you know you can put a big bore kit on them. is it possible to do that on a quad. (don't laugh at me if it that question sounds stupid)

A 14 year old with $6000? Wow, I wish I had your parents when I was your age!

Must be nice.

I know this thread has been dead for awhile but i had some questions. First I was looking at one of the web camshafts on their website. I believe stock lift is only .382, they had one on their website that was a .390. I think this is too small to probably even feel a difference. they also had one that had a .430 lift for the same money. But it says major top and middle end gains for racing engines. First I dont want to kill my bottom end, and It says for race engines. I have for perfomance is a pipe, filter, sort of lid, and a smaller sprocket. I'm pretty sure thats not a racing engine. I dont know if it would work or not. If it wont will a bigger compression piston help? thanks for youre help

Bigger compression piston will definately help, just make sure to run higer octane gas. With the bigger camshaft you will probably have to change out the valve springs in order to get the valves working correctly. The smaller lift one that you saw is probably designed to work with a semi-stock motor without changing the springs. BTW the higher compression will give you killer low end power!
