Default Zerk fittings on a Swing Arm

Need advise. Does anyone know how often, if ever, you would need to lube the bearings & seals inside the swing arms with grease on Yamaha ATVs. I have a 03 Raptor & was wondering why they have Zerk fittings for the front arms but not the rear. My other question is this. Can you drill & press a Zerk fitting into the rear swing arm so you can pump in bearing grease? Would that be a good idea? Just a food for thought question.
