I could see this machine being built, but not by Yamaha. Maybe Honda because they still get it. Honda redesigned the Rancher and kept the manual tranny option intact, something Yamaha couldn't do with the Wolverine. I'm not brand loyal, I'll give my money to any manufacturer willing to build this machine.

I'd love to see KTM come out with something like it alongside their rumored 450MX. Orange/black. I believe the have a 690cc in the Paris-Dakar bike, no?
Maybe even Kawasaki, with a partial aluminum frame and the look of their new 450 up front (bigger fenders though)

It's too bad that the Renegade is so expensive. I hope it sells well anyway. Might give the other manufacturers a kick-start into putting out a good sport 4x4 with a manual transmission. The sport clutch on the 250EX is kinda interesting too.
Key thing is weight though. Gotta be lighter than the Renegade. I just thought 500lbs should be attainable, even with the IRS and such.

Mud Lites are good tires, but I can't compare them to anything else as I've only ridden on other brands for short periods of time.
They're not the most aggressive mud tire, but the strike a good balance.
