I have 2000 warrior the clutch is real hard to pull in the lever. Is there any kind of adjustment that may fix this or do I just need to get a new clutch kit.

Welcome to the world of sore left hands and Warriors....I have
two of them '00 and '03...This is one of my few gripes about the
old crusty veterans...The clutches are alot tighter than most newer
bikes...My Z400 is like a feather compared to my Warriors...I have read
many posts on many diff. sites and it just seems to be the nature
of the beast...I would loosen it up as much as you can (free-play) and
just get used to it...Don't think there is probably anything wrong with
your clutch, just a bad design by Yamaha....Good Luck....

RMATV has one for i bleieve $13 that has teflon in it but i replaced with OEM... i'd say OEM.. unless u live 50+miles from a dealership.. then i'd say buy stuff from RMATV.. but otherwise it's only like $15 fro mthe dealer.. or try to get a motion pro from a dealer..

loosening won't affect anything.. especially if the clutch cable is frozen.. you'll eventually break the cable

By loosen, I meant did it make it easier to pull/engage....Because my Warrior's
clutches are helluva lot harder to pull compared to my Z400...

Just for a 2nd opinion, change your clutch cable! You cant lube them enough to free them up when they get stiff, and when I changed mine it was like a night & day difference.
