Default 2001 Warrior jetting problem

I know this question has been asked many times. I tried going back and reading some previous responses. I have a 2001 warrior with a stock engine FMF power bomb header,FMF Megamax exhaust,Modify Air Box cover. I installed a Dynojet Jet Kit. At the same time I repacked the muffler and added the missing diffuser disc to my muffler. The bike seems to run ok but only notice very slight difference if any in power and only in mid range. I notice when warming up with the choke on the headerwas glowing red. A friend rode it and thoughtitsmelled like it was running rich. I used the DJ148 jet and new needle on 4th groove as recomended. I am close to sea level in central NewJersey. Maybe it was just running rich with choke I am not sure.

Were the numbers on the jets from Dynojet the same as the stock jet numbers listed on the FMF site. I think I was on that site and they recommended a 150 main jet and the dyno jet kit recommended a 148 but there are larger sizes in the kit.

FMF reccommends a 150-152 main jet. I installed a 152 in my warrior with the FMF power core slip on.

I will take that to mean the numbers are the same. The kit I have only goes up to 150 but I suppose I could order that jetseperately from dynojet.
