03 raptor cutting out

Default 03 raptor cutting out

I have been haveing some troubles with my raptor cutting out when i am doing wheelies. Any ideas on how i can fix it????

try taking off your parking break, mine had the same problem. taking of the parking brake worked for me

My buddies does the same thing, except when the front end comes down it would stall and then it was a b1tch to get started!

I will try the parking break, what all do you need to block that off?

Probably need to adjust your float levels in the carbs. They are always changing on a Raptor.

Parking brake cutout would not allow you drive at all, much less let you do a wheelie.

I agree that its not the parking brake. I bet you have water in your float bowls.

No, you guys are way off base. The fuel in the float bowls keep leaking out of the float overflows. There is no way to fix this problem unless somebody has tried sealing their overflows? This is just what the 660 does, every one of them does it if they have the mikuni 33mm BSRs on it.
