Engine size question
#1
i know a warriors bore is 83 stock i think and im running a 84mm wiseco piston, what size does that make my warrior if its 1mm over on the piston,i heard it was a 357cc or sumthin then if i added the hotrods crank +7mm it wud be like a 410 all together or something then like with a JE 85mm high comp piston it wud be a 440 or 446 or sumthin but im askin to get this cleared up becuz im not sure exactly with the warriors, thanks

The formula is bore x stroke x # of cylinders. Theres a calculator at the bottom of the page on this link.

Edit: That calculator is in inches, ill try and find another one.

I think the formula for calculating volume of a cylinder is, π x bore2 x stroke , so, multiply the value of Pi or 3.14159 times the bore squared times the stroke. So for example, a single cylinder engine with a 40mm bore and a 40mm stroke would be calculated as follows 3.14159 x (40 x 40) x 40 = 201061.76 cubic millimeters. Now multiply by 0.001, to convert to cubic centimeters or 201.06176 cc.

If you have a 84mm piston and added a +7mm crank, I dont know what it would be, but I know it wouldnt be a 446. I just put a + 10mm crank in mine with a WAY oversized piston(not sure of the mm) and its a 446. Dont quote me on this, but if you are thinking about getting a +7 stoker crank I dont think you can use the piston you have. I THINK you have to use the piston that comes with the kit, that would make it a 396cc. Or you could check out Fourstroketech.net and get their 446 kit for about the same price as the 396 Hot Rods kit. And just FYI the labor to get this kit installed was around $600, and thats with me removing and disassembling the engine down to the cylinder. I dont split casings.
