Oh alright thanks for all the replys. Yes i would like to see some pixs if do don't mind. My email is Bighomedog11@gmail.com or just post them here don't matter. But under the seat the red thing i am pointing at in the picture http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24...4/untitled.jpg
Is it suppose to be connect to the red wire right? Because mine is not i think it came apart but i can solder it back. And also is there 2 black wires? And last question is for the key starter is there 3 wires for it? Because a wire is ripped off and I think its from the key start but not 100% sure. I will try alot of things. I will put my car jumpers to the battery wires to see what it will do and i will try to push start it.

OK well i took the carb about. But the needle thingy with the spring on it is stuck in the carb soo thats maken the thottle no work. And i unscrew the bottom of the carb it had some black gas in it soo i pour it out. But i can not figure out how to remove the needle to get the spring out and stuff? How do you? And if its stuck in there does that mean the carb is bad? And whats the best way to clean a carb?

soak it in a penetrating oil(wd40) and then clean ALL that oil out with a can of carb cleaner. if that doesnt get it unstuck i bet its junk. not sure if a rebuild kit for a moto 4 exists.

I wonder if PB Blaster would hurt anything in the carb, that stuff is great for breaking loose rusted parts in general. As long as it doesn't damage the diaphragm...assuming it is a diaphragm/needle type carb. I would be tempted to get a small bucket with a lid filled with carb cleaner, and toss the carb in and let it soak for a few days, then try to dissasemble and clean it.

Ya i was thinking about that. So i should just spray alot of Carb cleaner and WD-50 into a bowl and let the carb sit?

Also i am going to try to hook my car battery with the jumpers to the battery wires on the ATV and try to start it just to see if the engine turns before i start worken on the carb. If it does not do nothing then the wire harness is bad an ill have to get a new one of those. Also if i take off the lid to the housing to see the top of the piston an if its not rusted then thats good? And another question is if i take off the hole head will the cam chain fall right off or is it like beside the piston or something?

Can't you buy carb cleaner that is not in spray form? And get some fogging oil to spray into the cylinder through the spark plug hole, if the piston rings aren't seized up. And definitely change the oil before you try to start it, or you might seize up the bearings. The kid down the road has an old mot-4, they are pretty hard to kill, if you take your time with it, you can get it running again without damaging it further, and hopefully without having to buy a rebuild kit, just to find out whether its already junk or not.

i use berrymans B12 chemtool, i get it a walmart, like 5 bucks or less, great for soaking carbutetor parts. it is also a fuel additive that stabalizes gas and prevents varnishing. i run it directly in my gas every 5 tanks or so, also in my boat motor and truck.

Ok well. I put some rust stuff and spray alot of Carb cleaner and WD-40 and put some paint brush stuff into a bowl and sat the carb in there. Like 1 hour latter i try to remove the slide again an it still did not move. Soo i am going to let it sit over night.

I try to start it with my car jumpers to the car battery to the ATV battery wires and the atv did not do nothing. Did not even make a sound. So i am guessing the wires are mest up because the key was ripped off but i connect all those wires together. And the wires were kinda of dirty like soo i might need to add some clips or something but not sure. Is there anywere eles on the atv i can hook my jumpers up too to see if the motor turns and if the starter works?

I took the side plate to the cam chain off. And the cam chain the sprocket an chain is lube good with oil still. So i am guessing the motor is still lube up.
