I have an 02 raptor 660. I was out riding today and I went to shift into reverse and when I did, evertime I gave it gas the engine would bog down and the exhaust would pop. I don;t even know where to begin ewith this one? Anyone have any experience feedback etc?

 

all 660s except the 01 have a reverse rev limiter, quite annoying. that's prob it.
if it only happens in reverse that's pretty much gotta be it....
like having your parking brake on - should be a similar effect.

How do I fix this problem? I removed my parking brake.

 

there's a limiter switch but it's been too long ago for me...someone will come on who knows how to jump it.
