How To Make Warrior Look Like A Raptor
#2
I don't know why everybody wants to make their quad look like something it isn't, but maier makes plastics for the warrior that are styled similar to the yfz450's. Maier's plastics are kinda chincy though and never line up quite right and are pretty fragile compared to the stock ones. But why be a poser and make it look like something else when you can make a warrior look great, without blending in with every other sport quad currently in production?

The Warrior is a little dated. The main thing I didnt like about the Warrior was the way it sits squatty in the rear. The Raptor 350 does look higher in the rear, even tho it isnt. I didnt like the Maier kit that converts it to updated "Raptor" fenders. That kit still uses the Warrior seat and blocky gas tank. I installed real Raptor 350 fenders over my frame, but I had to weld brackets on the frame to make them work. Also I had to have a Raptor 350 gas tank, airbox, battery, and headlights. It really wasnt worth all the trouble. I wasnt satisfied with it, so I ended up buying a Raptor 350 frame(see pics). Unless you have major fabrication skills, time, patience, and money, I would suggest just buying a Raptor 350 or just keep the Warrior like it is.

Another valid statement. I will never put Maier's on my quad.
The Warrior is one of the all-time greatest quads made, why make it into something that it's not. It's too bad you cut your stock fenders, I haven't seen a Warrior with cut fenders yet that looked right.
