did the raptor shocks lower or raise the wolvy

the raptor shocks didn't change the susp. travel but they are about an inch longer so they already have some pre-load. they have progressive springs which allow the susp. to be soft yet not bottom out on jumps and stiffer in the turns. I'm sure they are not even close to as good as ELKA shocks but for the price diff. waaayyy better than stock.

Getting back on topic here..

Have any of you guys tried using a fuel filter on the carb vent line to prevent dirt ingestion? I think I might do this.

putting a set of 660 shocks on there is a great idea... you didnt have to cut anything or fab. anything did you? you just took out the old ones and bolted the new ones on? havent got too much experience with shocks so this would be a big help.

the shocks from the 660 are about a .5 in. longer so you need to compress them a bit. I also believe that the yzf450 shocks are the same length and have the piggyback res. on them.

so far i have found white and red spring raptor shocks.are these better then the yellows?

they're exactly the same. different color springs for different color raptors... the springs on the LE wolvey are red but on the normal one they're white.
