I just got through rebuilding my old 87 moto 4 80cc badger(overbore piston, rings, timing chain, intake valve, valve grind.)

Now I just removed the exhaust baffle and cleaned it out to free up the exhaust that was plugged up.

Ever since I redid the motor it will not run unless the choke is on full. Any ideas?

 

i'd say re-jet the carb..or make your fuel air mixture a little richer...sounds to me like it's gettin to much air. you might have a leak somewhere also.

 

replaced with a carb from a 07 raptor 80cc and problem is fixed.
