I am notsure which A-Arms you have ordered I ordered TimmyBoy Designs and they ream them for you for free. Lone Star will do them but charge you $40.

Both of these A-Arms require the spindles to be reamed. The taper on them is 1 1/2 inch taper per foot. The reaming tool may be purchased from Snap-On. The part number is R121.

Hey KyRaptor,

Was there any trick to installing that DuraBlue Axle? I just got mine today and am trying to decide if I should take it to a shop. How long did it take and did you need any special tools?
Thanks.

Installing the axle is easy. Remove the spring clip and lock nut assembly from the durablue, and leave the other spring clip and retainer in place. With the old axle removed, slide the durablue thru the sprocket, and thru the axle housing. Slide the brake disc housing, then the lock nut assembly on. Finally install the spring clip and tighten the lock nut.

Nothing to it.
